Wings for Wishes finds new location
ST. IGNATIUS — Wings For Wishes Over Montana is a radio-controlled airplane two-day fun fly event (R/C air show) designed to benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Montana. This year we have a new home at the St. Ignatius Airport. A valid proof of AMA must be shown at registration. As always, spectators are free. Please have all dogs on leashes. Probation officer to address Neighborhood Watch
ST. IGNATIUS — Barbara Monaco, chief probation officer for Lake, Sanders and Lincoln Counties, will address the St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch group on Tuesday, Aug. 18. The group meets every third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center. The group may also discuss a possible future presentation concerning the Ryan United organization. That organization promotes community awareness of sexual and violent crimes.

Church invites all teachers to luncheon
ST. IGNATIUS – Mission Valley United Methodist Church on Post Creek Hill invites all teachers and school employees throughout Lake County to a Back-to-School luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25. All are welcome to enjoy food and friendship with teachers from other districts. School supplies will be available for staff to gather and take to their classrooms.
